Publicis Groupe Brasil provides an internal data product that collects data from online advertising and social media platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, Tik Tok), databases (e.g., AWS, Snowflake, PostgreSQL), and other custom sources, and then uses it to generate reports for the Groupe’s internal teams, as well as their customers.
Their data engineering team had been building integrations between these sources and the data product, but this process was becoming hard to scale due to continuous API maintenance and the constant need to connect new data sources.
Publicis Groupe Brasil needed to offload data integration work to a dedicated pipeline vendor, and free their data engineers to focus on scaling their data product. This is essential for keeping clients’ online services connected, and much more secure than Publicis Groupe authorizing the services for them.
Another added feature is the ability for clients—as well as Publicis Groupe Brasil’s internal teams—to configure data extractions through Publicis Groupe’s UI. This is so much easier than redirecting them to a separate platform, and keeps everything on-brand for the Groupe.
