Automated Google Analytics data export to FTP/SFTP

One of feature often requested by our users is the ability to automatically, in given period, export data to FTP/SFTP server. This feature is particularly useful when used together with automated data import from Google Analytics, thus with Dataddo you can completely automated Google Analytics data flow. In following paragraphs you can read a short tutorial. We currently only provide the ability to “push” the FTP/SFTP, however, we plan to gradually add other types of external storages in the future.

Get the data and set automated import

  1. Log in to Dataddo.
  2. Go to “Sources” and click on “Add a source”.
  3. Choose Google Analytics.
  4. Set data retrieval query or choose a query from our gallery.
  5. Define a period in which you want automatically retrieve the data.
  6. You are done!

Define external storage

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Click on “Add external storage”.
  3. Set credentials of your FTP/SFTP server.
  4. You are done!

 Set automated data export

  1. Go to “Sources”.
  2. Choose the source you wish to export and click on view (eye icon)
  3. Click on “Define automated data export”.
  4. Define a period in which you want to automatically export the data.
  5. You are done!
